“First off, I would just like to thank very much my colleagues for putting your trust and confidence in me to take over the leadership over the next year,” said Tymoschuk. “And I would like to take a moment to thank very much our outgoing chair, Laurie Larsen, who has been our chair for many years and provided excellent leadership and guidance, especially through the COVID years, which were challenging times.

“Thank you very much for all you’ve done and for me as vice-chair, being there to help me along the way as well.”
