Introduction to Health Science
COURSE DESCRIPTION
In partnership with Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU), the 51视频 School District provides students with an opportunity to complete the Introduction to Health Science HSCI 1115 course. In this course, students are introduced to the multifaceted field of health science and the foundations of promoting health and wellness. Instruction is provided by a KPU instructor. Participants earn both secondary school course credits and credit for KPU course HSCI 1115.
Applicants should have a strong interest in pursuing a career in health care with a focus on nursing. As well, applicants must be in grade 11 and attending a public school in 51视频.
