District Partnership Programs
DISTRICT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMS
The 51视频 School District, in partnership with local post-secondary institutes and , offers a wide variety of Partnership Programs for district high school students. These enable students to begin training in a specific occupation prior to graduation. Tuition is paid. Programs occur annually in second semester at other school sites around the city.
Priority for District Partnership is given to grade 11 students.
Students who participate in a Partnership Program may receive:
- elective credits toward secondary school graduation,
- post-secondary credit,
- technical trades apprenticeship training.
PLEASE NOTE: Applications are open from September through March. While tuition is paid for by the district some programs require students to pay additional fees which are detailed in brochures available in the Career Centre.
